FAQ'S

Still Have Questions?

Can anyone join the team?

Yes! We welcome drivers of all skill levels. Drivers must be at least 5 years old to begin locally and 7 years old to race nationally — there is no age maximum.

How Do I Join The Team?

Reach out to schedule a call, visit us at a practice or race, or connect with us online. We’ll talk about your goals and design a custom program that fits your path.

Can I test out a gokart before I commit?

Yes! We offer arrive-and-drive test sessions using our cadet and full-size OTK chassis. We’ll help schedule a convenient practice day to get you behind the wheel.

What does Arrive and Drive Mean?

It means you show up and race — we provide the kart, gear, setup, and support so you can focus on learning and driving.

Can you help me plan and budget for racing?

Absolutely. We offer custom race packages and monthly payment plans for drivers committed to multiple events or full seasons.

Does a new Go-Kart include a motor?

Not typically. Engines are usually sold separately, unless you’re purchasing a used kart package that includes both.

What Engines Do you Support?

We support all major karting engine classes: 60cc Cadet – IAME & ROK 100cc JR/SR – IAME & ROK 125cc Shifter – IAME & ROK LO206 – 4-stroke (great for club-level or beginner racing)

Why do you run both ROK and Iame Engines?

Different race series use different engine types: ROK engines are used in series like ROK Cup USA, Challenge of the Americas, and regional events. IAME engines are standard in SKUSA and USPKS. LO206 engines are popular at club-level tracks like Prairie City and K1 Speed.

How do I know which engine is right for me?

We’ll help you decide based on your goals and location. For example: Racing in Sonoma? ROK is the standard. Starting at a smaller local club? LO206 might be the perfect fit.

How much does a Go-kart Cost?

It depends on your level and goals. New 2025 OTK Chassis: Pricing (pre-tax) $ 2618.70 - Kid Kart $ 4183.20 - Cadet $ 5997.75 - Full-Size (2-stroke) $ 6865.95 - Shifter $ 4521.50 - LO206 (4-stroke) Used Chassis: $1,500 – $3,500 (Used karts are a great starting point for new drivers.)
